Flights to Srinagar

Almost all major carriers operate airplane services to Srinagar. You can choose cheap tickets to Srinagar from budget airlines that includes Indigo, Go Air or Spice Jet. Minimum travel time between Srinagar and Delhi is 1hr 20 min while between Mumbai and Srinagar it is 2hr 40 min. If you are flying from Bangalore or Chennai, there is no direct flight, hence the travel time is more than 4 hours.

Unfortunately no train services are yet operational that can take you to Srinagar. However, you can go till Jammu and can take a flight or hire a cab for smooth journey. You can also enjoy a ride between Shri Mata Vaishno Devi railway station and Jammutawi. The train passes through some of the epic landscapes that will force you keep your camera handy.
