Tips for Planning Honeymoon in Kashmir

Are you all set to leave for a big grand holiday to Kashmir after your ‘I-do’ ceremony? Well, first of all, congrats for choosing the most romantic and enthralling honeymoon destination of India. I am sure you are all ready to get lost in the ice-laden mountains and create some wishful memories with the new inclusion in your life. But before you start creating your wild imaginations, make sure you consider these following tips-

Plan your hotel stay in advance. Carry the print out of confirmation mail as this would also include the address and necessary contact details.

Insist on airport/railway station pick up from the hotel.

If you are staying in a House boat, check what the facilities they are offering- food, to and fro travel from boat to stand.

Carry list of important contact numbers not just in your mobile phones as well as in your diary.

Contraceptives- lots and lots of it

Take mini first aid kit and basic medicines that you think might be required

Keep your toiletries minimum as possible. It occupies lots and lots of space.

You can leave your peeptoes, high heels at home. Carry some comfortable pair of shoes, boots and bellies (tweak as per the season).

Pack your bag with comfortable pair of clothing. Avoid taking heavy designer stuff as you won’t be wearing any of them.

Do carry camera and extra pair of batteries

Carry a sling bag of average size- not big that taking it everywhere is a task but spacious enough to keep basics such as mobile phone charger, power bank, some cash and wallet.

Make up kit must have- Cotton balls, cleanser, moisturisers, sun screen, lip balm, Aloe vera, Sanitary pads, Wet wipes, tissue papers, make up remover.

Sewing kit, ear plugs, compact umbrella, razors, hair gel, spray.

Always take your Mediclaim cards and most possibly have a look on the list of hospitals that are covered (just in case of emergency)
